Restaurants and cafés

Reservations, walk-ins and your menu, in Arabic and English.

Lowmark is a reservation system for restaurants and cafés in Kuwait and the GCC. Guests book a table on your own website in Arabic or English, and your team runs the door, the floor and the waitlist from one place, on a laptop or a phone.

14 days free, no card needed. Works beside your POS.

Most Kuwait restaurants still take bookings by phone.

When we studied 17 Kuwait restaurants and cafés in October 2026, the phone was how almost all of them took bookings; only a hotel restaurant (through OpenTable) and a café chain (with its own app) offered booking online. Calls get missed in a busy service, names get written down wrong, and nobody knows who is still coming. Lowmark gives guests a booking page that is always open, and gives your team one list that everyone sees.

What your guests can do

  1. Book a table online

They choose the party size, date and time, and only see times when a table that fits is actually free.

  2. Read everything in Arabic

Your website, the booking page, emails and each guest’s own booking page are fully Arabic, right to left, or English. Each guest sees their own language.

  3. Change or cancel themselves

Every booking has its own link. Guests change the time or cancel without calling you, and can find their booking again by phone number.

  4. Join a waitlist when you are full

A full time shows as Full. Guests can ask to be told, and they get an email when a table opens. Nothing is held until they book.

  5. Say “I’m here”

Close to their time, guests tap I’m here on their booking page, and the host sees it straight away.

  6. See your menu

Your menu page lists sections and dishes in both languages, with photos, prices, labels and what is sold out today.

What your team does

  1. Draw your dining room

Place your tables on a floor plan, then see at a glance which are free, seated or booked.

  2. Host view for the door

Today’s arrivals, walk-ins and seating in one list. Add a walk-in in seconds and seat them at a free table.

  3. Walk-ins and the live queue

Guests can join the queue from a QR code at the door and follow their place on their own phone; a waiting display can show the list.

  4. A buzzer on the guest’s phone

For counter orders, the guest’s own phone shows their number, order and total, and alerts them until they have seen it is ready. Curbside guests tell you which car is theirs.

  5. Reminders

Lowmark emails a reminder before the visit, and the phone app prepares a WhatsApp reminder you send in one tap.

  6. Guest records

Every guest’s visits, notes and preferences, so regulars are recognised.

  7. Your team, your rules

Each person gets their own sign-in with what their role allows. The business sets and resets staff passwords.

  8. QR codes for everything

Booking, menu, queue, a booking’s status and one-time check-in, each a printable QR code.

  • Deposits, prepayment and no-show fees: card payments are not connected yet.
  • Automatic WhatsApp messages: the phone app prepares them and you send them.
  • It does not replace your POS or kitchen system; it works beside them.

Questions restaurant owners ask

What is the best reservation system for a restaurant in Kuwait?

It depends on what you need. Global systems such as OpenTable and SevenRooms suit large and hotel restaurants. Lowmark is built for independent restaurants and cafés in Kuwait and the GCC: Arabic and English with proper right-to-left layout, your own booking website included, walk-ins and waitlist, and one fixed price in KWD with no commission per booking.

Does it work fully in Arabic?

Yes. Your website, the booking page, the guest’s booking page, emails, the menu and the whole workspace work in Arabic with right-to-left layout, or in English. Guests and staff each choose their language.

Do I need a website first?

No. Lowmark builds your website with your menu and booking page, on a Lowmark address. You can connect a domain you already own.

How much does it cost?

After a 14-day free trial, KWD 9.999 a month or KWD 99.999 a year. There is no fee per booking or per guest, and no card is needed for the trial.

How does it reduce no-shows?

Guests get a confirmation and a reminder before their visit, and can change or cancel in one tap instead of simply not coming. Freed times go to guests on the waitlist. Deposits are not available yet.

Can I take walk-ins as well as bookings?

Yes. The host view lists today’s bookings and walk-ins together, and guests can join a live queue from a QR code at the door and follow their turn on their phone.

What happens when we are fully booked?

The time shows as Full and the guest can join the waitlist for it. If a table opens, for example after a cancellation, they get an email and can book it.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests book, change, cancel, join the queue and check in from a web page in their phone’s browser.

Does it replace my POS?

No. Lowmark handles bookings, the door, the floor, the menu page and guest records. Your POS keeps taking payments and orders.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. There is a Lowmark phone app for iPhone and Android for the owner and team, and it keeps showing the day’s bookings even without a connection.

Can my staff use it without seeing everything?

Yes. Each team member gets their own sign-in with a role, such as host. You set their password and can reset it any time.

Can I confirm bookings myself instead of automatically?

Yes. Choose instant confirmation, or review each request and accept or decline it.

Does it work for cafés and counter service?

Yes. Besides tables, the digital buzzer lets counter guests wait anywhere: their phone shows their number and alerts them when the order is ready.

Is it only for Kuwait?

Lowmark is built in Kuwait and priced in KWD, and it works for restaurants anywhere in the GCC: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

Can I use AI assistants like ChatGPT or Claude with it?

Yes. Lowmark connects to AI apps through MCP, so you can ask in Arabic or English about today’s bookings or change your website draft. You approve every change.
