Write your site in English and Arabic

Each language is written separately so both read naturally. Lowmark reminds you when one language falls behind the other.

Where: Editor → English / العربية

Steps

  1. Edit a line in English. A note appears: the Arabic version still has the old text.
  2. Press Update the Arabic. The editor switches to Arabic and shows how many lines to update.
  3. Click each highlighted line and write the Arabic. When all are done the note disappears.
  4. You can also right-click a section and choose Edit in Arabic (or Edit in English) to jump straight to it.

Every button and what it does

Names as they appear on screen.
English / العربيةSwitches the language you are editing.
Update the Arabic / Update the EnglishOpens the other language on the lines you changed.
Edit in Arabic / Edit in EnglishFrom the right-click menu: opens this section in the other language.

Good to know

Write the Arabic for Arabic readers rather than translating word for word. Customers see the language they choose on your site.
