Booking statuses and buttons: Instagram & social shop

Every status on the Orders & fulfilment board, the button that moves a booking to it, and the order they come in.

Steps

  1. Requested → Confirmed or Cancelled
  2. Confirmed → Preparing or Cancelled
  3. Preparing → Ready or Cancelled
  4. Ready → Fulfilled or Cancelled

Every button and what it does

Names as they appear on screen.
Confirm orderMoves the booking to “Confirmed” and updates the customer's status page.
Start preparingMoves the booking to “Preparing” and updates the customer's status page.
Mark readyMoves the booking to “Ready” and updates the customer's status page.
Mark fulfilledMoves the booking to “Fulfilled” and updates the customer's status page.
Cancel orderMoves the booking to “Cancelled” and updates the customer's status page.
Requested (status)Where every new request from your website or a QR code starts.
Confirmed (status)Reached with the “Confirm order” button.
Preparing (status)Reached with the “Start preparing” button.
Ready (status)Reached with the “Mark ready” button.
Fulfilled (status)Reached with the “Mark fulfilled” button.
Cancelled (status)Reached with the “Cancel order” button.

Good to know

Staff only see the buttons their job allows. Every change is recorded in the booking's status history.
