Booking statuses and buttons: Beauty & wellness

Every status on the Appointment board, the button that moves a booking to it, and the order they come in.

Steps

  1. Requested → Confirmed or Cancelled
  2. Confirmed → Checked in or Cancelled or No-show
  3. Checked in → In service or Cancelled or No-show
  4. In service → Completed

Every button and what it does

Names as they appear on screen.
Confirm appointmentMoves the booking to “Confirmed” and updates the customer's status page.
Check in clientMoves the booking to “Checked in” and updates the customer's status page.
Start serviceMoves the booking to “In service” and updates the customer's status page.
Complete appointmentMoves the booking to “Completed” and updates the customer's status page.
Cancel appointmentMoves the booking to “Cancelled” and updates the customer's status page.
Mark no-showMoves the booking to “No-show” and updates the customer's status page.
Requested (status)Where every new request from your website or a QR code starts.
Confirmed (status)Reached with the “Confirm appointment” button.
Checked in (status)Reached with the “Check in client” button.
In service (status)Reached with the “Start service” button.
Completed (status)Reached with the “Complete appointment” button.
No-show (status)Reached with the “Mark no-show” button.
Cancelled (status)Reached with the “Cancel appointment” button.

Good to know

Staff only see the buttons their job allows. Every change is recorded in the booking's status history.
