Hero section: your headline and main button

The first thing customers see: headline, short pitch, photo and the main buttons.

Where: Editor → click the Hero section → Edit section

Steps

  1. Click your headline on the page and type; do the same for the text and buttons.
  2. Press Edit section for the Arabic words, the image and the button actions.
  3. Press Layout to place the photo (right, left, stacked, full bleed or background).

Every button and what it does

Names as they appear on screen.
Headline / Headline (Arabic)Your main line.
Body text / Body text (Arabic)One or two sentences under it.
Primary button / Primary button (Arabic)The main action, usually booking.
Secondary button / Secondary button (Arabic)A second, quieter action.
Primary button actionWhere the main button goes (booking, menu, waitlist, a page or a link).
Connected dataWhich tool the button uses.
Replace image / RemoveChanges or removes the hero photo.
Hero image: image URLUses a photo from an address.
Image description / Image description (Arabic)Describes the photo for screen readers and search engines.
Photo placement: Image right / Image left / Stacked / Full bleed / Background / Edge anchored / Editorial insetWhere the photo sits.
Mobile image: Below text / Above textWhere the photo goes on phones.
Alignment: Start / CenterText alignment.
Treatment: Natural / Fade to copy / Color overlay / Monochrome / Low contrast / FramedHow the photo is styled behind or beside the text.
Image shape: Landscape / Portrait / Square / CinemaThe photo's shape.
Image crop: Fill frame / Show whole imageCrop the edges, or show the whole photo.
Focal position: Left / Center / RightWhich part stays in view when cropped.
Image height: Compact / Standard / TallHow tall the section is.
ContentThe words, items and buttons of the section, in English and Arabic.
LayoutHow the section is arranged. Each choice shows a small picture of the result.
MediaThe section's photo or background image.
Choose from library or upload / Upload imagePicks a photo from your library or uploads a new one.
Section background image: image URLUses a photo from an address instead of the library.
Photo StudioCrop, focal point, overlays and colour adjustments, without changing the original.
Visibility · Toggle …Shows or hides the section on your site. Hidden sections keep their content.
Close InspectorCloses the settings panel.
Motion · Use site settingThe section moves like the rest of the site.
None / Reveal / Stagger / Slide / Scale / Image reveal / Mask reveal / ParallaxHow the section appears as customers scroll: straight away, fading in, items one after another, sliding up, growing slightly, the photo uncovering itself, content wiping in, or the photo moving slower than the page.
